Pea protein
Notice is hereby given that on June 20, 2024, in accordance with subsection 37.1(1) of the Special Import Measures Act, the Tribunal determined (Preliminary Injury Inquiry No. PI-2024-001) that there is evidence disclosing a reasonable indication that the dumping and subsidizing of pea protein originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China have caused injury or are threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry. The full description of the aforementioned goods can be found in the Tribunal’s determination.

PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT ACT

The Public Service Commission of Canada, pursuant to section 116 of the Public Service Employment Act, hereby gives notice that it has granted permission, pursuant to subsection 114(4) of the said Act, to Robert Doyle Safire, Veterans Affairs Canada, to seek nomination as a candidate before and during the election period, or to be a candidate before the election period, in the electoral district of Eastern Shore, Nova Scotia, in the provincial election to be held on or before July 15, 2025.
The Public Service Commission of Canada, pursuant to subsection 114(5) of the said Act, has also granted a leave of absence without pay during the election period, effective the first day the employee is a candidate during the election period.
