Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under paragraph 2(a)footnote a of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act footnote b, transfers from the Privy Council Office to the Department of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness the control and supervision of that portion of the federal public administration in the Privy Council Office known as the Emergency Preparedness Secretariat, effective November 21, 2024.
