Order Authorizing the Wearing of Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medals and Directing that They Be Added to the Order of Precedence

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister,
- (a) authorizes the recipients of the following medals to wear one of the insignia of those medals, of the recipient’s choice if the recipient has received more than one medal:
- (i) The Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal (Nova Scotia),
- (ii) The Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (New Brunswick),
- (iii) Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (Manitoba),
- (iv) Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal (Prince Edward Island),
- (v) Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal (Alberta), and
- (vi) Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (Saskatchewan); and
- (b) directs that the insignia referred to in subparagraphs (a)(i) to (vi) be added, in the order set out in those subparagraphs, to the order of precedence in the Canadian Honours System after all the medals under the heading “Other Medals” in section 1 of the Canadian Orders, Decorations and Medals Directive, 1998footnote a.
