PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT ACT

Order Designating the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada as a Department and the President as the Deputy Head of that Agency for the Purposes of that Act

P.C. 2021-832 August 6, 2021

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, effective August 6, 2021,

• (a) pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition “department” in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment Act ^{footnote a}, designates the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada as a department for the purposes of that Act; and
• (b) pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition “deputy head” in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment Act ^{footnote a}, designates the President of the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada as the deputy head of that Agency for the purposes of that Act.
