Order designating the Minister of Small Business and Tourism, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, (1) as the Designated Minister for the purposes of the Business Development Bank of Canada Act; and (2) as the appropriate Minister with respect to the Business Development Bank of Canada for the purposes of the Financial Administration Act

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to the definition Designated Minister in section 2 of the Business Development Bank of Canada Act footnote a, and pursuant to paragraph (d) of the definition appropriate Minister in section 2 of the Financial Administration Act footnote b and subparagraph (a)(ii) of the definition appropriate Minister in subsection 83(1) of that Act,
- (a) repeals Order in Council P.C. 1997-1214 of August 28, 1997 footnote c;
- (b) designates the Minister of Small Business and Tourism, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Designated Minister for the purposes of the Business Development Bank of Canada Act footnote a; and
- (c) designates the Minister of Small Business and Tourism, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the appropriate Minister with respect to the Business Development Bank of Canada for the purposes of the Financial Administration Act footnote b.
