Genevieve Cromarty Remission Order

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, considering that it is in the public interest to do so, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health and the Treasury Board, pursuant to subsection 23(2.1)^{footnote a} of the Financial Administration Act ^{footnote b}, remits to Genevieve Cromarty the amount of $116,204, and all relevant interest on it, representing the amount payable by Genevieve Cromarty or her estate as a repayment of overpayments made to Genevieve Cromarty during the period beginning on February 18, 1994 and ending on September 3, 2008 in respect of an Isolated Post Allowance.

Proposal

This Order remits a debt, and all relevant interest on it, arising from overpayments of $116,204, in respect of an Isolated Post Allowance made to Genevieve Cromarty during the period beginning February 18, 1994, and ending on September 3, 2008.
