INQUIRY

Electrical installations and major repairs

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has received a complaint (File No. PR-2021-031) from Port of Spain Holdings Inc. (POSH) of Toronto, Ontario, concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. 5P421-21-0006/A) made by the Parks Canada Agency (Parks Canada). The solicitation was for the rehabilitation of the utilities of Tunnel Mountain campground’s operations area. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal made a decision on August 9, 2021, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.

POSH alleges that Parks Canada showed significant bias during the award process and cancelled the solicitation instead of awarding the contract to POSH, the lowest compliant bidder.

Further information may be obtained from the Registry, 613‑993‑3595 (telephone), citt-tcce@tribunal.gc.ca (email).
