Notice is hereby given that, on February 15, 2021, pursuant to subsection 37.1(1) of the Special Import Measures Act, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal determined (Preliminary Injury Inquiry No. PI-2020-006) that the evidence discloses a reasonable indication that the dumping and subsidizing of chrome cast iron grinding media in spherical (“ball”) or ovoid shape, with a diameter of 12.7 millimetres (½ inch) to and including 76.2 millimetres (3 inches) within tolerances of 5 percent (5%), with an alloy composition of 10 percent or more (≥ 10% of total mass) chromium (“Cr”) content and produced through the casting method, originating in or exported from the Republic of India, have caused injury or are threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry.

Notice is hereby given that, on February 19, 2021, pursuant to subsection 37.1(1) of the Special Import Measures Act, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal determined (Preliminary Injury Inquiry No. PI-2020-007) that there is evidence that discloses a reasonable indication that the dumping and subsidizing of certain upholstered domestic seating, originating in or exported from the People's Republic of China and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, have caused injury or are threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry.

Notice is hereby given that, on February 19, 2021, pursuant to subsection 43(1) of the Special Import Measures Act, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal has made a finding (Inquiry No. NQ-2020-002) with respect to the dumping and subsidizing of decorative and other non-structural plywood, whether or not surface coated or covered, and veneer core platforms for the production of decorative and other non-structural plywood, originating in or exported from the People's Republic of China. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has received a complaint (File No. PR-2020-085) from ACT for Performance Inc. (ACT), of Montréal, Quebec, concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. 2020-7412621-2) made by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD). The solicitation was for consulting services. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal made a decision on February 11, 2021, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.

ACT alleges that its bid was improperly evaluated.

Description of critical habitat of Wood Turtle in Kouchibouguac National Park of Canada and La Mauricie National Park of Canada

The Wood Turtle (Glyptemys insculpta) is a medium-sized semi-aquatic turtle listed on Schedule 1 of the Species at Risk Act. In Canada, the Wood Turtle is found in forested landscapes as well as near clear freshwater streams and associated floodplains from Nova Scotia westward through New Brunswick, Quebec, and Ontario.

The Recovery Strategy for the Wood Turtle (Glyptemys insculpta) in Canada 2020 identifies critical habitat for this species within Kouchibouguac National Park of Canada and La Mauricie National Park of Canada.

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to subsection 58(2) of the Species at Risk Act, that 90 days after the date of publication of this notice, subsection 58(1) of the Act will apply to the critical habitat of the Wood Turtle as identified in the recovery strategy for that species that is included in the Species at Risk Public Registry, and that is located within Kouchibouguac National Park of Canada and La Mauricie National Park of Canada, the boundaries of which are described in Schedule 1 to the Canada National Parks Act.
