Manulife Assurance Company of Canada — Letters patent of incorporation and order to commence and carry on business

Notice is hereby given of the issuance,

• pursuant to section 22 of the Insurance Companies Act, of letters patent incorporating Manulife Assurance Company of Canada and, in French, Compagnie d'assurance Manuvie du Canada on September 8, 2015; and
• pursuant to subsection 53(1) of the Insurance Companies Act, of an order authorizing Manulife Assurance Company of Canada and, in French, Compagnie d'assurance Manuvie du Canada to commence and carry on business, effective October 15, 2015.
