RELEASE OF ASSETS

Pursuant to section 651 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada) [the “Act”], notice is hereby given that Colisée Re intends to apply to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada) on July 13, 2015, for an order authorizing the release of the assets that it maintains in Canada in accordance with the Act.

Any policyholder or creditor in respect of Colisée Re's insurance business in Canada opposing that release is invited to file an opposition by mail to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), Legislation and Approvals Division, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, or by email at approvalsandprecedents@osfi-bsif.gc.ca, on or before July 13, 2015.

Livain Benoit and Alberto Benoit hereby give notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport under the Navigation Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under paragraph 5(6)(b) of the said Act, Livain Benoit and Alberto Benoit have deposited with the Minister of Transport and in the office of the District Registrar of the Land Registry District of Miramichi, county of Northumberland, at Miramichi, New Brunswick, under deposit No. 34647892, a description of the site and plans for the cultivation of molluscs (oysters) at aquaculture site MS-1306 in Tabusintac Bay, in Brantville, New Brunswick.

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Regional Manager, Navigation Protection Program, Transport Canada, 95 Foundry Street, P.O. Box 42, Moncton, New Brunswick E1C 8K6. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.

LETTERS PATENT OF INCORPORATION

Pursuant to section 25 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada), notice is hereby given that The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company intends to apply to the Minister of Finance for the issuance of letters patent incorporating an insurance company under the Insurance Companies Act (Canada) for the purpose of transacting the business of life insurance with the name Manulife Assurance Company of Canada, in English, and Compagnie d'assurance Manuvie du Canada, in French, or such other name as may be approved. Its head office will be located in Toronto, Ontario.

Any person who objects to the issuance of these letters patent may submit the objections in writing, on or before June 29, 2015, to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2.

THE STANDARD LIFE ASSURANCE COMPANY OF CANADA

CONVEYANCE AND ASSUMPTION AGREEMENT AND CERTIFICATE OF CONTINUANCE

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to subsection 254(3) of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada), that The Standard Life Assurance Company of Canada (“SCDA”) intends to make an application to the Minister of Finance, on or after June 8, 2015, for approval of the assumption of substantially all the liabilities of SCDA (including all policyholder liabilities) and a conveyance of substantially all of SCDA's assets to The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company.

A copy of the proposed Conveyance and Assumption Agreement is available for inspection by policyholders of SCDA during regular business hours for a period of 30 days after the publication of this notice at the office of SCDA, at the following address: 1245 Sherbrooke Street W., Montréal, Quebec H3G 1G3. Any policyholder may request a copy of the Conveyance and Assumption Agreement by writing to the above address to the attention of the Corporate Secretary.

Notice is also hereby given, pursuant to subsection 39(3) of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada), that SCDA intends to apply to the Minister of Finance, on or after June 8, 2015, for approval to apply under the Canada Business Corporations Act (the “CBCA”) for a certificate of continuance as a corporation under the CBCA, following the transfer and assumption of SCDA's assets and liabilities.
