PLANS DEPOSITED
Rio Tinto Alcan hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport under the Navigation Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under paragraph 5(6)(b) of the said Act, Rio Tinto Alcan has deposited with the Minister of Transport and in the following offices, a description of the site and plans of the following works:
- in the office of the District Registrar of the Land Registry District of Lac-Saint-Jean-Est, at Alma, Quebec, under deposit No. 21 264 807, a description of the site and plans of the construction of four 20 m long fan-shaped dikes, in front of Lot 3 686 572, in the cadastre of Quebec (Site 97.15.01 [Saint-Henri-de-Taillon]);
- in the office of the District Registrar of the Land Registry District of Lac-Saint-Jean-Est, at Alma, Quebec, under deposit No. 21 264 806, a description of the site and plans of the construction for two ripraps (50 m long and 80 m long) and nine stone islets over 135 m in length, in front of Lot 3 548 514, in the cadastre of Quebec (Site 2015.14.01 [Sainte-Monique]); and
- in the office of the District Registrar of the Land Registry District of Lac-Saint-Jean-Est, at Roberval, Quebec, under deposit No. 21 266 126, a description of the site and plans for the installation of a 300 m long stone mattress, in front of Lots 3 650 897, 3 650 899, 3 650 900, 3 650 901, 3 650 902, 3 650 903, 3 650 904, 3 650 905, 3 650 906, 3 650 907, 3 650 941, 3 650 942 and 3 650 943, in the cadastre of Quebec (Site 96.11.01 [Dolbeau-Mistassini]).
Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Manager, Navigation Protection Program, Transport Canada, 1550 D’Estimauville Avenue, Suite 401, Québec, Quebec G1J 0C8. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.
