Order Designating the Honourable Kirsty Duncan as the Minister for the purposes of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council Act and Designating the Minister of Science as the appropriate Minister for the purposes of the Financial Administration Act

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to the definition  Minister in section 2 of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council Act (see footnote a) and paragraph (c.1) (see footnote b) of the definition appropriate Minister in section 2 of the Financial Administration Act (see footnote c),

• (a) repeals Order in Council P.C. 2008-23 of January 16, 2008 (see footnote d);
• (b) designates the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purposes of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council Act (see footnote e); and
• (c) designates the Minister of State styled the Minister of Science as the appropriate Minister with respect to the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council for the purposes of the Financial Administration Act (see footnote f).
