Cold Ocean Salmon Inc. hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, Cold Ocean Salmon Inc. has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and in the town office of the federal electoral district of Random—Burin—St. George’s, at St. Alban’s, in Bay d’Espoir, Newfoundland and Labrador, under deposit Nos. 8200-05-1206, 09-1239, 09-1240 and 09-1241, a description of the site and plans for the proposed aquaculture sites in Roti Bay, Bay d’Espoir, Newfoundland and Labrador, at AQ-999, AQ-1062, AQ-1063 and AQ-1064.

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Manager, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, P.O. Box 1300, John Cabot Building, 10 Barter’s Hill, St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador A1C 6H8. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.

The Department of Transportation and Works of Newfoundland and Labrador hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, the Department of Transportation and Works of Newfoundland and Labrador has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and in the town office of Glovertown, Newfoundland and Labrador, under deposit No. 8200-10-1063, a description of the site and plans for the construction of a new bridge and removal of the existing E.S. Spencer Bridge over the Terra Nova River, at Route 1, Trans-Canada Highway (48°38′18.4″ N, 54°02′22.8″ W), near the community of Glovertown, Newfoundland and Labrador. The Terra Nova River will be closed to navigation intermittently at the bridge locations during construction of the new bridge and during removal of the existing bridge.
